Joseph Astroth Bio:

Joe Astroth brings 25+ years of executive management in the geospatial industry to his role of CEO, CycloMedia Technology, Inc. Throughout his professional career, Joe has successfully established and led high-tech businesses and teams into positions as leaders in the industry. He is a proven entrepreneur and visionary, with a well-recognized track record of creating successful new business ventures. Currently, Joe is responsible for overall management of the rapidly growing CycloMedia team in the US, as well as for oversight of high-profile projects and client relationships. In 1985, Joe received a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Chicago. From 1984-1990, Joe was an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, teaching courses and conducting research activities in computer cartography, geographic information systems and spatial analysis. Also during his tenure, he co-founded the Geographic Resources Center, a research institute focused on both scholarly works as well as consulting services to federal, state and local government agencies.
